Using this site

This website is published by Law Offices of David P. Sheehan, PLLC, trading as DPS Law. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Everything here is general information about the firm and the areas it works in. It is not legal advice, it is not a substitute for advice about your situation, and you should not act or refrain from acting on the strength of it. Law changes, and what is written here may be out of date by the time you read it.

Using this site, sending the contact form, or talking to the chat assistant does not create an attorney–client relationship. That relationship begins only when we have checked for conflicts and both signed a written engagement agreement.

The chat assistant

The assistant is an automated tool. It is not a lawyer, it does not give legal advice, and it can be wrong. Treat what it says as a starting point for a conversation with the firm, never as an answer you can rely on. What you send us

Do not send confidential information through this site before we have agreed to act for you. Do not send anything unlawful, and do not send anything you do not have the right to send. You keep ownership of what you send; you give us permission to use it to respond to you.

Our content

The text, design, photographs and code on this site belong to the firm or its licensors. You may read it, print it and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it as your own or copy the site.
